Iced Coffee

Not only is it delicious, but studies are showing that high-quality coffee can be a healthy addition to your lifestyle.  If you’re a coffee lover, feel free to do a fist-pump for that good news!  And even better…Isagenix now offers coffee for purchase.  Double fist-pump!  It is fairly traded blend with 100% arabia beans, slow roasted, and very smooth-tasting.  It also contains green tea extract, trace minerals and coconut oil.  Another reason why I love this company so much – they are on top of scientific research, on trend and the integrity of Isagenix products is the highest of standards.

This recipe is perfect for a warm day or any day.  It’s creamy, delicious, smooth & very satisfying!

Iced Coffee

4 oz cold pressed Isagenix Coffee (see directions below)
2-3 oz organic milk
½ – 1 TBSP organic cane sugar to taste

Directions to brew cold pressed coffee:
1.5 cups  Isagenix Premium or Organic Coffee
3 cups water

Combine grounds and water in an air tight container and stir. Store in the fridge for a minimum of 12 hours. After the grounds have soaked in water overnight, separate the two by using a stainless steel mesh strainer. It works best to place the strainer over a glass jar and then pour the mixture from the airtight container.  Note: the mixture will be thick, it’s normal! Discard grounds (or save them to use as a natural fertilizer for your plants!). Store cold pressed coffee in a glass jar or airtight container.

Directions for Iced Coffee:
Put cold pressed coffee, milk & sugar into blender. Blend for 5-10 seconds.  Once combined, serve over ice. I love using Mason jars & drinking mine out of a straw!
